SARA SERRAVALLE
Art Facilitator
Sara Serravalle earned her BFA in Art Education at Concordia University in 2019. She has several years experience in teaching art education to children and adolescence in public schools. Over the years, she has learned different ways of creating a safe and inclusive space for her students to express themselves artistically. She also ran small art and doodle clubs during lunch hours to provide a space for students who needed a place to belong. On top of her experience in teaching art, she also taught early literacy intervention to children aged 6-8. Sara is passionate about making a positive change in the life of her students.
In her pass time, Sara loves to paint with watercolors, draw with fine point pens and sew little felt objects. She draws most of her inspiration from nature observations around her. She also loves to draw animals, particularly cats and birds.
