MICHELLE DANG

 Intern, Graduate Student in School and Applied Child Psychology, McGill University 


Michelle is currently a Master’s student in the School and Applied Child Psychology program at McGill University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2022. Following the completion of her Masters, she will be pursuing her Ph.D. in the same program. Her current research focuses on improving forensic interview guidelines and applying the development of children’s honesty to child maltreatment cases. 


At Emery Psychology, Michelle assists psychologists in the assessment process. She speaks French, English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and is passionate about increasing access to mental health services for children and families from diverse backgrounds. 


Michelle is dedicated to supporting children’s social and emotional wellbeing, as well as their academic success. She is looking forward to working with children, families, and educators in clinical and school settings throughout her graduate studies and future career. Michelle not only has experience working with children and adolescents, but also young adults, in summer camps, intervention, clinical, and research contexts.
