Lyndsey Bryson

Behaviour Specialist

Lyndsey Bryson is a behaviour specialist with over 15 years of experience supporting neurodiverse children, teens, and families across school, home, and community settings. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with young people who are often misunderstood and helping families navigate challenges with greater confidence and connection.

Lyndsey's work is grounded in the belief that behaviour is a matter of skill, not will, and that simply wanting to act differently, or being incentivized to do so, is often not enough. Drawing from the Collaborative Problem Solving model developed by Dr. Ross Greene, she focuses on understanding the underlying skills that may be contributing to a child's difficulties, whether related to emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility, problem solving, communication, or social thinking. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and practical skill building, helping individuals and their families move beyond managing behaviours to understanding and addressing their root causes.

Lyndsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Disability Studies from Ryerson University, a post-graduate diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science, and a diploma in Early Childhood Education. She is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed specialized training in Essential Foundations in Collaborative Problem Solving through the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry, as well as PDA Training for Therapists: Creating Effective Mental Health Practices for PDA Individuals.

Lyndsey provides individualized support to children, teens, and young adults experiencing behavioural, emotional, and social challenges. She also works closely with parents through coaching and consultation, and offers in-home support to families navigating challenging behaviours or difficult transitions.

Whether she is working directly with an individual, supporting parents, or collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, Lyndsey brings warmth, humour, honesty, and genuine curiosity to her work.
